| Experience: | I have tutored in inner city Cleveland schools while attending St. Ignatius High School. I have continued this work while in college through different service opportunities. I scored a 1630 on the SAT a 24 on the ACT. I have received a 3 on the AP English Literature exam and have acquired great writing skills through honors and AP courses. I have also taken honors physics courses. I want to tutor because I can inspire kids to want to do well in school and I want to help kids get through the tougher years because I know what it's like to struggle and be forced to go to a tutor. I was tutored in mathematics for 3 years and it has helped me actually major in the subject that I had so many problems with. I am focused on understanding the material, not the time frame it takes. I have been on the honor roll in high school and the deans list in college. |
