Are you looking for an experienced tutor for your middle school or high school student? I am a current Case graduate student whose has over 5 years of experience as a tutor/teacher. I have always had a passion for teaching, helping students learn to love learning, and encouraging them to succeed. The past three years, I have been tutoring middle and high school students in various math and science courses and test prep. I have very recently helped two students increase their ACT scores. I also tutored/taught while in undergrad and during a post-graduate volunteer year as well. I find creative ways to help students learn and encourage them along the way. I plan organized lessons, tailor my teaching to each student's individual learning style, and help students learn and connect concepts rather than memorization. ACT test prep: I am currently available to help students who are looking to take the February 10 or April 14 ACT. Please know that I do require about 2-4 hours of independent study in between test prep sessions which I will assign. I also require a minimum of 8 sessions of test prep before test day, but 10 sessions is ideal.
